Publication: Road Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme: The Journey So Far
On January 28, 2019, the Federal Government of Nigeria issued the Executive Order 007 titled the Road Infrastructure Development and Refurbishment Investment Tax Credit Order, (2019). The Order established a scheme that sought to encourage private sector funding in the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of road infrastructure in Nigeria. It is now four (4) years down the line, whether or not the Scheme has made any significant impact since its 4 years of existence is a question of fact that this article seeks to address.
