The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) issued the Insurance Web Aggregators Operational Guidelines (“the Guidelines”) to govern the operations of Insurance Web Aggregators in Nigeria. The Guidelines came into effect on February 1, 2022.
In this article, our Associates Samuel Dunmade and Kelechi Emelike examine the Guidelines and discuss the objectives of the Guidelines, the possible benefits and shortcomings of the Guidelines and the implication of the Guidelines on the Insurance Industry.
