Samuel Dunmade is an Associate in the firm. He specialises in energy, finance, taxation and corporate. Samuel is advising clients in a wide variety of categories including leading finance institutions, companies, multinational corporations, regulators, and corporates (domestic and foreign). He also advises clients in several industries including telecommunications, technology, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, commodities services, retail, fast-moving consumer goods and so on.

Samuel is an important member of the Energy, Finance and Tax team. His practice includes advising our clients on registrations, compliance, contentious and non-contentious matters, possible infringements and appeal cases, and unfair competition.

Advising All-On Partnership for xxxx by Guarantee, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum and Development Company Limited in investments with Infibranches, Koolboks, Mobile Power Nigeria, Greenage Technologies and Auxano Nigeria Limited.
Advising on the divestment of Shell International B.V’s interest in Shell Petroleum and Development Company Limited, the largest upstream operator in Nigeria.
Advised United Capital Plc on its ₦20,000,000,000 (Twenty Billion Naira) series 2 bond issuance under the N30,000,000,000 (Thirty Billion Naira) bond issuance programme.
Advising the Lagos State Government on the for the construction, development and operation of a 37km Lagos Metro Rail Transit project in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Advising First Bank of Nigeria Insurance on its Tax Assessment Disputes with the Federal Inland Revenue Service.
Advising on the proposed Acquisition of Union Bank of Nigeria by Titan Trust Bank
Advised the United Bank for Africa Plc, one of Nigeria’s largest banks on the Nigerian law requirements in respect of the issuance of its perpetual additional tier 1 subordinated sustainable notes.
Advised BUA Cement PLC on its USD200million Facility from the African Finance Corporation.
Advising Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company Limited (InfraCredit) on its guarantee of an infrastructure debt issuance by Greenville LNG Company Limited to finance the development of a new LNG plant in Delta State, Nigeria with a planned capacity of 2,1000MT/day from two (2) liquefaction trains
Advising a leading entertainment studio in respect of a Trademarks Appeal in respect of a Refusal of Registration of Trademark Application.
Advising a leading Industrial manufacturing company in respect of a Trademarks Appeal in respect of a Refusal of Registration of Trademark Application.
Advised xxx on the territorial and international intellectual property right (IPR) protection regimes available for the protection of the attendant’s IPR in a virtual mall.
Advising xxx in a Public Private Partnership Agreement with the Lagos State Government and Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority for the development of Lagos Medical Park.
Advising xxx in respect of the concession of 12 federal highways by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing (Highway Development and Management Initiative).
