Lolia has advised on some innovative and expansive transactions in the Projects and the M&A space. Some of Lolia’s key deals include:  :

  • Lolia advised Dar Al-Handasah on the World Bank’s 3rd Urban Water Sector Reform Project in Nigeria. She developed legal and institutional framework for water and sanitation in 13 states in Nigeria for the purpose of preparing an investment masterplan.
  • She advised Akwa Ibom State Government on developing an industrial City (including a deed seaport) on 14,000 near James Town.
  • She advised Ranjy Construction Limited on the construction of the Calabar 20km dual carriage road.
  • She is advising on the Lagos Metro Rail Project which involves the construction of a 37km “Red Line” metro rail line in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • She is advising a client on the concession and the Development of the Lagos State Medical Park Hospital.
  • She is advising the Concessionaire of 2 out of 13 Federal Highways in Nigeria.
  • She is advising on the development of the Africa Medical Center of Excellence, the first of its kind.
  • She advised on the development of a Special Economic Zone in Abia State.
  • She advised controlling shareholders of a Nigerian financial institution on the proposed acquisition of, and merger with a prominent commercial bank in Nigeria.
  • She advised AIICO Insurance Plc on its divestment of AIICO Pension Managers Limited to FCMB Pensions Limited and a sub proposed merger with FCMB Pension Limited.
