Oluwafunmilayo Mayowa is a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Real Estate, Construction, Mergers and Acquisition and Corporate Practice Units. As a key member of the Real Estate and Construction unit, Oluwafunmilayo regularly advises local and foreign clients on diverse transactions in the transport (aviation, shipping and maritime, road, railway), hospitality, health care, industrial and mining sectors.

She is also a member of the Firm’s Corporate and M&A practice units and provides legal advisory services to various clients in several sectors of the economy. This includes advising on mergers, acquisitions corporate restructuring, foreign investments, compliance, corporate governance, divestments, privatizations etc.

  • Advising the Lagos State Government on the construction of the Lagos Metro Rail Transit – the Redline; (N93bn, the largest rail line in Nigeria).
  • Advising African Plus Partners on its concession of the Lagos-Otta and Benin Asaba toll Roads under the Federal government HDMI Initiative.
  • Advising IASO Medipark Limited on the concession and the development of the Lagos State Medipark Hospital.
  • Advising a leading FMCG company on the development of a 25-storey twin-tower building with 42 luxury apartments on Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, Lagos.
  • Advised an NNPC subsidiary on its establishment of a 5-star luxury hotel in Abuja with an international hotel operator.
  • Advised Sifax group of companies on the bid for the concession of the Lagos International Airport.
  • Advising a world-renowned international shipping company on the construction of a private port in Lagos.
  • Advising a client on its proposed development of the Badagry Port and free zone.
  • Advised two leading Pension Fund Administrators on the sale of their majority stake in the Company.
  • Advising mpharma on its acquisition of majority shares in HealthPlus Limited.
